Description
The Office Administrator manages all of the firm’s office activities, and plays a key role in our day to day operations. By successfully carrying through with his/her responsibilities our firm both maintains its professional standards, and adds to the productivity and efficiency of the operation. Additionally, his/her personality and demeanor has a great impact on our relationship with clients and vendors.
Education, experience, & skills

A minimum of three years experience administration experience
-
Business training or some college preferred
-
Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures
-
Bookkeeping experience and proficiency in Quickbooks
-
High level of proficiency in standard business software including Outlook, Word, and Excel
-
Word processing and typing skills required
-
Previous experience in a similar type of company would be helpful

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills

Comfortable working in a highly demanding and fast-moving environment
Responsibilities

Provide support to the Principals by coordinating and organizing all day-to-day administration issues

All company clerical activities, including correspondence, filing, and record keeping

General administrative and reception duties (i.e. switchboard, relaying messages, courier pickups)

Bookkeeping: A/P, A/R, billing, payroll, and other accounting-related duties

Maintain appearance of reception area, conference room, and manages kitchen supplies

Manage the supply of office equipment, supplies, and accepts inquiries/requirements from staff

Seek and develop efficiencies in office activities, and document guidelines for reception and administration

Assist company staff as considered appropriate by supervisor
